How do you create your recipes?
The Blend my day recipe was developed by Blend my day founder Alex (more about him) and Blend my day brilliant nutritionist Eve. Blend my day also works with top Instagram recipe developers like @oatmeal_stories and @healthy_belly to ensure you get the best Instagrammable treats!
What’s in a ready-to-mix smoothie/shake?
Each cup contains ready-made frozen ingredients to mix a large smoothie (approximately 400-450ml). This is big enough for 1 or 2 servings, depending on how hungry you are. Each blend contains only the best foods: fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains and superfoods. All natural, minimally processed (no additives or preservatives), vegan and gluten free.
Why do you use frozen fruits and vegetables?
For many reasons! Frozen fruits and vegetables create the perfect creamy texture and ideal temperature. Blend my day’s fruits and vegetables are also frozen using IQF technology (“Individual Quick Freeze” or “Quick Freeze”) within hours of harvest, ensuring maximum preservation of nutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants). Freezing also enables Blend my day to be much less wasteful than using fresh produce on the Blend my day side and on your side due to its long shelf life.
where do you deliver?
Blend my day delivers almost anywhere in the UK/Mainland UK via DPD Next Day Service. Few remote or hard to reach areas not delivered including: Aberdeen, Argyll, Aran, Dundee, Ireland (Republic of Ireland), Guernsey, Isle of Man, North Highlands, Northern Ireland, Orkney Shetland and Jersey. Before ordering, you will be able to check your postcode and make sure Blend my day can deliver to your area.
Do I have to subscribe?
No, it’s definitely possible if you want to try out a box before deciding to subscribe, or if you just want to place a one-time order. When ordering, do not select the subscription option.
When should I receive my box?
By default, future deliveries will take place on the same day of the week (currently Wednesday or Friday) as your initial subscription order.
DPD is delivered between 8am and 7pm. You will receive an eta on the day of delivery, usually 1pm.
You don’t need to enter to receive the box – in fact, most clients of Blend my day don’t. Your box will stay in your designated safe place and your food will be frozen until 10pm, so don’t forget to take it away.
Blend my day strongly recommends that you download the DPD app here. It will allow you to track your order en route and receive further notifications when it is close to delivery time.
